Chat: it should be clearer to wich post a reply belongs
Actually, Shampra and me test the chat.
The thing is, both of us have the tendency, to write multiple posts direct in a row.
What then can happen is this:
- Shampra asks: "Can I use your bottle opener?"
- I answer: "Yes, do are allowed to do that, because I trust you use it right, mate!"
--> But while I wrote this, did Shampra already send a second post where he asks: "Am I allowed to invite your girlfriend to me over night?"
-- In such a situation, the answer from me "Yes you are allowed ..." appears direct below the question about that girlfriend.
It isn't clear at all that the answer was originally given for the FIRST question (about the bottle opener).

Replies already work in Chat? Are you asking for something different?
I interpret your question so, that the needed function is already planed.
-- Good then!
I simply need to wait.
No, I mean the solution exists right now. You have to double click a message to reply to it. Maybe you missed this?
You're right, I've missed that! <:-(
Thanks!
It's also already possible to jump from the reply to the initial message, good!
But now, I miss the opposite:
1. There should be an indicator that there are answers for the initial message.
2. There should be a kind of expander (Toggle) that opens all the existing answers in a tree layout.
Should I write a new request?
That's a different thing, which is threaded replies/discussions in chat. It won't be something we support anytime soon because it requires a lot of work—and every time we work on chat features, it seems the community wants to strangle us.
