Ability to run the Anytwo as a background service even when the UI is closed

In mac, it is often that when we close an app, it stays running in the background, but the UI gets closed to save resources. I would want that.

Use case

Like I leave the anytwo desktop app running in the desktop app in the background, when I am playing games. (Want to minimize the resource usage as much as possible). But I would want the anytwo to be running for syncing messages in the background and recv. messages.

And in near future a global search bar that could be triggered from any app could be used to open an object when required, even when the window is closed. (the app should be running in the background though)

You can already do that. Anytwo uses Any under the hood: https://github.com/anyproto/any. It’s fully open source.

It has all the same capabilities as the UI version. I highly recommend playing around with it, as it’s a very powerful tool to have.

That is a different use case. A separate any CLI is helpful when I want to run in on a server somewhere. Or when I will not be using the UI at all.

But, in my use case, the UI will be used often but, when I close the UI it shouldn't just stop notifying me about new updates/messages.
Also, when it receives the global search from any app feature, the app will need to be running for the keybindings to work. And in that situation, I don't want the UI to be always opened, and only open when I need it to.
