Welcome Message for Invited Guests

I'm creating a space, and I'd like guests to have access to useful information upon arrival—such as how the space works or the rules.

In a shared space, it should be possible to designate a page as the starting page so that every newcomer begins there.

Thanks for the suggestion, Shampra. This is a really practical need — helping new guests understand how a space works from the start makes a lot of sense.

To help us think this through, a couple of clarifications would help:

  1. Who decides what that welcome page is? Just the space owner, or can any member with certain permissions set it?
  2. Should guests see it every time they enter, or just on their first visit? (And if first visit, how would the app know?)
  3. Are there other types of info you'd want shown alongside it — like a rules list, or permission guidelines — or is it mainly about pointing to one page?
