Tasks with page-text-body to enter more than 'Notes'
At the moment there is no possibility to put subtasks or other relating objects in an exiting task. The tasks text-body is missing.
It should be possible to do this:
Task Title
(div. Propterties)
Text-body (like in Anytype) with more Information to the task with
- Text-description
- Pictures
- Additional-Files
- Other Tasks (=Subtasks) and
- all other possible Types in your space

Thanks for this detailed suggestion, Zak.
I want to make sure we're on the same page about what you're asking for. When you say "tasks with page-text-body," do you mean you'd like tasks to have a rich content editor (like the one in pages) where you can embed text, images, files, and other task objects inline — all within a single task's body?
A couple of clarifying questions:
This'll help us understand the actual friction point and prioritize it properly.
I posted something similar an hour earlier. It clashes with this FR on the body part (I suggested it should be list of another sub tasks).
And I agree with the Notes are not enough, but I mostly keep subtasks inside a task and nothing else. How about you? Do you feel that the content could be any different? Or should it only be sub tasks.
One thing that I would want to take from your FR is
"pages could be easier to create tasks from (after few FRs that are in todo right now)"
I think all types of objects should be possible to insert. Imagine a picture in a task as part of the description. When the task is finished and checked off it can be deleted with all contented objects.
Also, there is "rich text property" PR in todo too. It should provide some level of editing freedom
