Changing a Tag colour can be hard -- it appears at the bottom of the list

What could be better?

If you add a new Tag and you want to give it a distinct colour, you'll run into the problem that the new Tag appears on the bottom of the Tag list.
If the list is very long, you need to scroll down the whole way to change what you want.

  1. How often does this come up for you? Is this a one-time setup thing when you're building out your tag system, or do you regularly add new tags?
  2. When you need to change the tag color, what's your actual blocker — is it purely the scrolling distance, or is there also friction in finding the tag you just created in a long list (e.g., if it's alphabetically buried)?

Those details will help the team scope the right fix.
