Linking Pages: make the choose/search box wider (or the boundary draggable)

What could be better?

If you make a link out of a word in a text block, a choose box witch search function appears.

The Problem:

The box is very small and the names of the entries in that box often appear truncated.
In my old Space in legacy Anytype, I usually have very long page names, often even with the same beginning, like this:
"Reparaturauftrag für Fertigungsanlage, Schlosserei Müller".
"Reparaturauftrag für Fertigungsanlage, Schlosserei Friedberg".
"Reparaturauftrag für Fertigungsanlage, Schlosserei Hanselmann & Söhne".
"Reparaturauftrag für Fertigungsanlage, Schlosserei Bertram & Co. GmbH".

Therefore, I generally dislike truncation of names!
Truncation ruins the sense of a choose box if you can't see the needed bit of information.
(Take into account that German words are often long)

Request:

  • There is more then enough place available to make the choose box much wider. Please do it!
  • Also make it possible for the user to drag its boundaries to make it wider on his own if he needs it.

Thanks for reporting this — the screenshot makes the truncation issue clear.

To help us prioritize: when you're linking pages with long names like those repair orders, how often does the truncation prevent you from finding the right page? Do you end up having to click through multiple results to see the full names, or does the search function narrow it down enough that you can usually identify the target despite the cut-off text?

Also, are there specific page name patterns (like the "Schlosserei" suffix in your examples) that would help distinguish between similar entries if visible?
