"Untitled" and empty Pages: don't show confirmation dialogue for deleting

What could be better?

It happens often to me, that I create a new Pages without filling it with any content.
As result, I end up again and again with an "Untitled" and empty Page, that I later need to delete.

Request:

If a Page is "Untitled" AND it is really empty, then allow it to delete it without a confirmation message.
That saves a little time.

The unnecessary confirmation dialogue is especially peeving if the user scrolls through the list of Pages and there is again and again an "Untitled" Page. The dialogue catches his eyes and attention for a moment and he loses the track in the list of Pages for a moment. That tiny friction sums up if there are randomly distributed empty Pages in that list, that need to become deleted.

Thanks for reporting this — the screenshot helps. I understand the friction: repeatedly hitting "confirm delete" for throwaway untitled pages breaks focus when you're cleaning up a list.

A couple of clarifications would help us scope this properly:

  1. "Really empty" — what counts? Does a page need to be blank text only, or should we also skip the confirmation for pages that only have default elements (like a single empty text block)? Any content that shouldn't auto-skip — embeds, images, tables?
  2. Untitled specifically, or any blank page? Should we skip the confirmation for ANY page with no content, regardless of its title? That way a page titled "Archive" that's also empty would get the same treatment.
