Nightly
Any Desktop v0.1.4-nightly.20260925.2
New
- Full-width pages in Settings → Preferences → Appearance lets document pages fill their pane, giving text and tables more room. It's off by default and saved on this device. Media keeps its reading width; resized pictures keep their chosen width.
- Auto-collapse spaces in Settings → Preferences is on by default and saved on this device. Turn it off to keep other spaces expanded until the pointer leaves the sidebar; keyboard and touch navigation still collapse them immediately.
Improved
- Selected text in the editor is easier to see, with a stronger highlight in Light, Dim and Dark themes.
- Rendered math and Mermaid blocks hide their source when the cursor or selection is outside them, and on read-only pages. Click the preview or use arrow keys to edit; unfinished or invalid previews keep the source visible.
- The code-block language "Math" is now "Math (LaTeX)" and appears first when you search for latex, tex, katex or equation.
- Switching spaces no longer triggers an extra round of background member checks across your other spaces.
- Background member checks no longer duplicate live updates for the space you're viewing, even when you're not its owner.
- Object links in list items and headings now show their saved name rather than the object's current name, without a card icon. The saved document is unchanged.
- Compatible app updates are also recognized by sidebar navigation, sidebar reordering and the app tiles in space settings.
- The space menu's
Inviteis nowCopy invite code, and puts the code straight on your clipboard instead of opening a dialog. - A table in a document now spreads into the full width of the page instead of stopping at the text column, and only starts scrolling sideways once it runs past the edge.
Fixed
- Backspace or Delete next to an @-mention or [[ link now removes the whole mention in one keystroke, instead of deleting its name one letter at a time. Undo brings it back.
- Word-delete shortcuts beside an object link or @-mention now remove the whole reference, along with any spaces between it and the cursor.
- In a right-to-left to-do list, ArrowRight at the start of an item now moves to its checkbox (Space ticks it) and ArrowLeft moves into the text, the mirror of a left-to-right list.
- An object name written in a right-to-left language, or mixing right-to-left and left-to-right words, now reads in the right order in tabs, breadcrumbs, the sidebar, search, backlinks, tables and lists, Tasks, Bookmarks, chat and object pickers.
- A long right-to-left name is now shortened at its end, so its first words stay visible.
- Right-to-left text now reads in its own direction in table cell editors, Wiki rename fields and new-object title fields.
- Object links and @-mentions in document text now read in the linked name's own direction, even inside a sentence in another script.
- Lines that start with an object link or @-mention now follow the direction of their surrounding text, including callouts, checklists and numbered lists.
- After inserting an object or web link with the
/menu, the cursor lands after the link and a space, including in table cells, so typing no longer changes the link's name. - Choosing an object with
@or[[on an empty line now shows its card with the icon straight away, instead of only after the page is reopened. - Pressing Back after opening a deleted page from the Archive now returns you to the Archive instead of the space's chat.
- Reloading the Archive or switching away and back to its space or tab now keeps you in the Archive.
- In the desktop app, opening a picture from a space's Files list, or a video in a chat, no longer also opens it in your web browser.
- Chat messages in Persian, Arabic or Hebrew now read right to left, and names and links inside a message keep their own direction.
- Each chat paragraph now follows its own text direction, so messages can mix right-to-left and left-to-right paragraphs.
- Right-to-left chat paragraphs align to the right, with list markers and quote bars following their direction.
- Chat timestamps move to the bottom-left when the final paragraph reads right to left, keeping them clear of the text.
- Right-to-left text also displays correctly in mail bodies, signatures and notes, meeting notes, bookmark text, search previews, mini-app readmes and the agent's Soul.
- The editor's
[[object picker and@people picker keep their name for screen readers while you type, instead of intermittently announcing a generic "Typeahead menu". - Standard text selections outside the editor now match the editor's highlight; chat-specific highlights are unchanged.
- Copy Markdown and plain-text copies now use
$$ … $$for display equations outside synced blocks, so compatible Markdown apps can render them instead of showing code. - Selecting an image, video or file in a page now highlights its content, making it clear what you are about to delete or move.
- Embeds now show the same highlight when included in a dragged block selection.
- In high-contrast color modes, selected media is marked with an outline instead of a fill, keeping the content visible.
- Opening Contacts or CRM in a space no longer highlights both apps in the sidebar at once.
- Switching spaces no longer restarts the regular background checking schedule for join requests.
- When saved list numbers are available, linking to a block in a document with a numbered list no longer incorrectly reports it as out of date.
- Version history now shows each numbered list item's saved number when available.
- Version history correctly aligns continuation lines for list items numbered 10 or higher when saved list numbers are available.
- The "…" menu offers Copy Markdown only on pages; other objects, such as an action added to the Wiki, show Copy link and Delete.
- With a task open, one click on another task now opens it, instead of only closing the open task and losing your place in the list.
- Clicking a checkbox or the "New task" row below an open task, or Shift-clicking a task below it, now works instead of being lost.
- An open New task card now waits until you release the pointer before closing, so it no longer moves nearby rows during a click.
- Switching tasks saves your current edits first. If saving fails, the current task stays open with "Not saved" instead of opening another task.
- The "…" button no longer appears in page headers where it had nothing to offer, such as Files, Meetings, and Skills or Contacts with nothing selected.
- An object or file link on its own in a list item or a heading now looks the same after you reopen the page, instead of turning into a link card.
- Block handles now disappear when you move the pointer from the editor into a neighboring sidebar or pane.
- When space is tight, block menus open below or above their block instead of covering the neighboring sidebar or the block handle.
- Chats, including direct chats, no longer briefly show "Chat without the cloud" while messages are still loading.
- Opening a space now goes straight to its chat or a neutral loading state, without an empty placeholder header or a temporary "General" tab.
- Meetings and Tasks no longer briefly say a space has no meetings or tasks, or that Meetings is not set up, while the space is still loading.
- The agent chat now waits for its history to load before showing its welcome screen.
- Direct chats now show the other person's name, or a shortened ID when no name is available, in the chat header and search.
- Newly favorited direct chats use the other person's name or shortened ID instead of "Untitled".
- Direct-chat avatars in chat headers and search now match the avatar shown in the tab and sidebar.
- Unnamed regular spaces now appear as "New space" in chat headers and search, matching the sidebar and tabs.
- The Members screen no longer says "Nothing found" or lists only you while the space's members are still loading.
- Member counts in chat and space settings headers now wait for the full member list instead of briefly showing "1".
- Membership additions, removals and role changes received while the member list loads are preserved, rather than replaced by an older result.
- Reloading a space's member list now removes outdated entries for people who have left or been removed.
- Switching spaces in the sidebar no longer makes the app lists jump, blink or leave an empty gap; the space you open and the one that closes now slide together.
- Tasks, Contacts and CRM now recognize compatible updates to their setup, avoiding incorrect setup errors when creating projects, areas, people or deals.
- Non-owners, including admins, now see disabled invite controls in the space menu and Members screen, with an owner-only explanation instead of an "internal error".
