Nightly

Any Desktop v0.1.5-nightly.20260930.2

New

  • A help button in the bottom-left corner opens keyboard shortcuts, a link to share feedback, and technical information.
  • The help menu's Keyboard shortcuts entry shows your current shortcut for opening that panel, including custom bindings.
  • Turn a YouTube link or plain-text YouTube URL into an embed from its block menu.
  • Drag spaces and direct chats in the sidebar to arrange them; the order follows you across devices.
  • Wiki folders have a "…" menu with Rename, Move to and Delete folder only — deleting a folder keeps the pages inside and puts them where the folder was. Undo restores the folder and its contents in two steps.
  • Move to on Wiki pages, to put a page into a folder or back at the top of the Wiki without dragging.
  • Library replaces Formats and the Collections screen, bringing Recents, types and collections together. Existing links and navigation history open types and collections there.
  • Recents lists the space's objects newest first, by creation or by last edit, with an All / Mine switch.
  • Type and Collections can be added as columns to any table; a type's table shows which collections each object is filed under.
  • Collections in the Library can be grouped into folders (kept on this device).
  • Right-click an object link or attachment in a chat message to choose Open in new tab.

Improved

  • Removed the space chat's "Discussion" entry from the former Formats list.
  • Removed the "View" row from the former Formats list.
  • Inline object references show page, chat or type icons beside their live titles, making linked objects easier to scan.
  • Converting a YouTube embed back to a link preserves the original label, formatting, indentation and address.
  • Favorites folder menus use "Delete folder" to distinguish folder deletion from removing an item from Favorites.
  • App headers in the sidebar columns show the app name without an icon.
  • Next space, Previous space and numbered space shortcuts follow your personal sidebar order.
  • The sidebar shows your saved order during startup instead of briefly reverting to creation order.
  • Sidebar apps and bookmarks can be reordered only by dragging. Their menus no longer offer Move up or Move down, and keyboard-only reordering is no longer available.
  • Bookmark rows no longer have a context menu.
  • Sidebar app menus group Add to Favorites with Hide or Unpin, with Open in new tab in a separate section.
  • In Favorites, Move to lists the top level first, followed by folders with their full paths.
  • Favorites folders can no longer be moved inside other folders; existing nested folders stay where they are.
  • Collection row menus no longer offer Move up or Move down; drag rows to reorder them.
  • Page menus now say "Rename" instead of "Edit".
  • Counts in Bookmarks, the right panel and collection navigation use a consistent style and show 99+ above 99. Wiki folders no longer show item counts.
  • Updated the Add folder icon.
  • A collection's table shows the collection's own properties; a type's properties live in the type's table and on the object.
  • Tasks show a checkbox instead of an icon in tables and lists.
  • Created by shows the member's avatar.
  • Types use their own names in chips, breadcrumbs, tabs and the Type column, such as "Task" instead of "Action". The built-in "Page" and general-chat "Discussion" labels stay the same.
  • Nightly build release notes now appear on the public changelog as soon as the build ships.
  • Previously unpublished nightly release notes will be added to the public changelog with their original release dates.
  • Changelog subscribers receive one email per older nightly entry when those notes are published.

Fixed

  • Moving between collection properties with Tab or Shift+Tab keeps the next editable cell ready to type.
  • Date, tag and relation pickers opened with Tab or Shift+Tab stay open instead of immediately closing.
  • Right-clicking a table cell now highlights only that cell, without leaving other cells or nearby tables selected.
  • Icons with colour or skin-tone options are applied only after you choose a swatch, avoiding a flash of the default choice. Emojis without skin-tone options still apply with one click.
  • Clicking an inline reference's icon opens its object.
  • Pasted cards keep their shape inside collapsible sections.
  • Pasting copied object references now rejects invalid labels containing line breaks.
  • Keep every conversion option visible when there is enough room in the window.
  • Blank lines and text between linked pages keep normal spacing in the editor.
  • Full-screen pictures now follow the order they appear on the page.
  • Pictures copied from another object in the same space now appear in the page's full-screen gallery.
  • When a picture appears more than once on a page, viewer buttons and arrow keys navigate from the occurrence you opened.
  • Nested list markers update correctly when a parent item is indented or unindented, including after Undo and Redo.
  • Nested numbered lists keep their own starting numbers when reloaded instead of inheriting the parent list's start.
  • Inline chat links stay attached to their text when you edit earlier in the message.
  • Deleting within a chat link keeps the link aligned with its remaining text.
  • Deleting across either end of a chat link now unlinks it correctly.
  • Inline code and code blocks in your own chat messages are easier to read in Light, Dim and Dark themes.
  • Quotes in your own chat messages no longer appear faded, making them easier to read.
  • Open an object attached to a chat message in a new tab with Cmd-click or Cmd-Shift-click on macOS, Ctrl-click on Windows or Linux, or middle-click.
  • Clicking a chat or collection attachment opens its chat or collection view instead of a generic object page.
  • YouTube embeds now play inside the desktop app on macOS and Linux.
