Spaces & members

  • Get a notification with an Open button when your join request is approved or an accepted invite adds you to a space. Approvals received while the app is closed are announced on your next launch.
  • Newly joined spaces stay highlighted in the sidebar until you open them on any of your devices.

Improved

Editor

  • Linking selected text fills the link search with that text, combining selections across blocks into one line. Press Enter to link the top match, or type to replace the search.
  • The link search opens above or below the selected text instead of covering it.

Bao

  • Credentials are grouped into Connected and Not connected, so the keys you have set come first.
  • Keys that were never set no longer show a red dot.
  • Credentials are listed alphabetically within each group, with rejected credentials first under Not connected.
  • Each credential group shows its number of entries in the heading.
  • Account-connection details stay with their connection under the same status heading.
  • Devices is split into This device and Other devices, with a status line showing which device answers chat.
  • A warning at the top says when no device answers chat, and for how long the device that held Bao has been offline.
  • Buttons for switching Bao to another device now name the target device.
  • Switching instructions now appear inside the relevant device's card.

Spaces & members

  • Joining with an invalid invite now shows a plain-language explanation.
  • Trying to join a deleted space now explains that the space has been deleted.
  • Trying to join a space you already belong to now explains that you are already a member.
  • Startup checks can now detect damaged local search data after an unexpected shutdown so it can be rebuilt.

Performance

  • Improved memory management while rebuilding search data.
  • The app skips unnecessary checks of space data after being force-closed, reducing startup delays.

Editor

  • On Linux, the editor's block drag handle is visible again.

Collections & Library

  • Adding a property in a grouped table now opens just one name field and “Select type” menu, in the group you clicked.
  • Objects can no longer be created with, or switched to, types reserved for the app's internal use.

Bao

  • A revoked account connection now shows as Rejected instead of Not connected.
  • When switching Bao to a device and it does not take over, the Dismiss button and its instructions now appear.
  • The Answers chat indicator now follows the device actually responding.

Spaces & members

  • Joining a space with a revoked or replaced invite now explains that the invite was revoked instead of showing an internal error.
  • Creating a space invite without permission now reports a permission error instead of an internal error.
  • Adding someone to a space without permission now reports a permission error instead of an internal error.
  • Search also keeps its query and filter when returning to its tab.
  • On Linux, buttons that appear on hover, including New space, New Favorites folder and Close tab, are visible again.

Settings

  • Preferences stays open, with your selected section preserved, when you switch to another tab and back.

Performance

  • Background storage maintenance now runs correctly while the app is idle, reducing recovery work after an unexpected shutdown.

Other

  • In-app notifications, including Undo in space settings, no longer show a double border.
