Logseq like daily notes

I had been using Logseq in the past, and I think the daily notes part of the Logseq is something to learn from. It's basic workflow is to jot down idea on a single page as they come into your mind, and use #tagsto associate them with some collection (as in anytwo). And each idea could belong to more than one collection (eg., I have to learn how to synthesize H2O. It could belong to #chemistry and #task). The feature that was blocking AnyType to achieve this workflow was “one feature could only belong to one collection” but in Anytwo the things are different, and it pave the path to create something just like that. The approach that anytwo currently uses is that you have to go into the respective collections and put the ideas in there, which takes time and changes context so much sometimes that you forget your original idea. ### How can we achieve similar behavior - Ability to create objects from the text already present, (like from this line) - Everything is a page, or mostly (it needs more thought) - Allow to modify the object block from the parent page. This requires the object block to be like normal text block, writeable by default, and use of something like #task on that text block adds that page into that said collection, or creates new collection and add in there. (#task would work as how the /collection-name were working in v0.1.4 but for the object block) (adding #tags on normal text should make them an object block and add it to that collection) It could also show which collection it belongs to as a #collection-name at the right side of the block. - Optionally, to add an expanded view to show the content of that child object in the parent page. ### Workflow As a user, 1. I would open up a page. 2. I would note down my ideas in each separate lines (blocks) as they come to my mind, without any thoughts where each idea belongs in my collections. 3. Once done, I would add #task, #movie, #project-idea for each of my idea (and possibly multiple tags on a single idea if they belong to multiple group) 4. And, I may change the phrasing of some ideas from the same page. Expected Outcome That tagged idea should show up in their respective collections, searchable, filterable.

Updates to Contacts Mini-App

This is a bit more forward thinking and I don't expect most of these changes to be implemented until Phase 4, but here's a bit of feedback about the Contacts mini-app. Would love to hear what others think about the Contacts mini-app, how they might use it, and what changes they'd like to see. I've been trying to use contacts over the past two days, and there are three big limitations for me: 1. A lack of blocks The lack of blocks makes it hard to link to parts of the contact within other pages. When in grad school, I used Anytype to record notes from a number of textbooks, and would list the authors as people listing their works on the profile page. I would then link my notes to those books. I have to make the book an object instead of just linking to the block because I'm unable to link to a block within the contact page. I could see wanting to list todos in a contact then link those todos elsewhere. Without blocks that's not possible. 2. The unclear UI for collapsing the 3 columns There is a toggle to open the contacts directory sidebar, but it disappears once that directory is open. I didn't realize I could collapse that column until I tried it once. Also, there's no way to collapse the property column or the details column for a contact. Having a clear UI to be able to open or collapse them would be helpful for a myriad of reasons. 3. Being unable to modify the default person/organization templates As I already mentioned in point 1, I've used anytype to take book notes and have authors listed as people. There's a particular template that I used in Anytype that I'd like to bring over to Anytwo. Currently the mini-app doesn't allow me to change the new contact dialog. I'm assuming that will change, but wanted to emphasize that change is needed. On first pass, an intuitive UI beyond more dialog boxes is that you'd be create a template for a collection using the profile type. Every collection with a profile template would be pulled into the contacts mini-app. You could then hide any collections you didn't want to see. I'm sure there are better ways to do that though.
