As the title says, a Find & Replace feature—especially one that uses regular expressions—would be amazing. Split View — two objects side by side

For desktop, the ability to view two objects side by side in a split view would be very handy. This way when you're reviewing one document, you can still capture notes in another. While having multiple windows is a solution, the multiple sidebar and tabs make this a slightly inconvenient experience. Created this on behalf of@UBr

Two-Way Relation Properties

Category: Data Model / Relations Summary: Request to add support for automatic 2-way relation properties across objects. Currently, relation properties in Anytwo operate as 1-way backlinks. When Object A links to Object B via a relation property, the inverse relation property on Object B's page remains "Empty". Use Case & Example: Suppose you have an Area object ("Home & Garden") and a Task object ("Finish Report"): 1. In the Task object, you set its "Area" relation property to "Home & Garden". 2. With 2-Way Relations, the "Tasks" relation property on the "Home & Garden" object page should automatically fill with "Finish Report". The same applies to Books & Authors ("Written By" <-> "Works Created"), Projects & Areas ("Area" <-> "Projects"), etc. Why This Is Important: - No Manual Double-Entry: Users don't need to manually link objects from both sides. - Object Page Integrity: Opening an Area or Project page instantly shows all connected Tasks, Notes, Bookmarks, and Items in its property fields. - Relational Parity: Provides the seamless relational database experience users expect from modern PKM/workspace tools.

Inline Views

I would like to see "Inline Views" implemented in Anytwo. Views are a strong feature and to be able to have them inline in other objects is very helpful. For example, if you define a type Book and a type Author, it would be nice to be able to see all the books an author has published on the author object. "Inline Views" were implemented in Anytype as Inline Query and I found them to very useful, especially with the dynamic filters. I think they should have the same functionality as Anytype as documented on the Inline Views page.

Editor: Properties Block with customisable options

What's the problem? Imagine pages for wikis, team directories, documentation, filling out forms, movie hubs, etc. It's often not useful for properties to be at the top—especially in long documents. Instructions or context can be written about a certain property that makes more sense in the body content. ### What's the solution? Property as a block in the object's body. 1. Edit property name 2. Edit property value 3. Edit property settings 4. Edit property block display — inline (horizontal), stacked (vertical) Shortcut commands for the property block 1. /property — opens menu, option to create property 2. /property name — /due date, /status, /description --- Original submission by Simon: One of the things I like most about Anytype (beside widgets :P) is the possibility to add properties from the /-menu anywhere in the object. I have several templates where one has to fill out the content and some properties distributed across the object content. This seems impossible in Anytwo atm, and this is my feature request for it.

Add back the + Editor UI from Anytype

The new editor 2.0 is great, but it's hard to add text between two linked objects, or two images. I imagine this remains for any element that's not text. It'd be great from a UI perspective to add back the + that used to appear between blocks in the Anytype app.

Sometimes I need to add a date to a page. For example, for a meeting summary where each action item is associated with a date (past or future). For future action items, being able to add a reminder will be useful once that feature is available. In another scenario, I’m creating a page (published on the web via Anytype) showcasing projects, and I’m using a simple, quick @today to set the date. So, the @ symbol should make it easy to set a date—whether relative or absolute. In terms of implementation, could this be done with predefined values (today, tomorrow, etc.) and/or a pop-up? It works well in Anytype.

Files containing text should be relatively easy to view, and there are many of them. Specifically, I have: - logs (such as application log files) - CSV files - and TXT files (license files, notes, README files) Would it be possible to display them? Task as subtask for other task [Streamline Tasks]

A task could be big or small and 1 big task could be made smaller sub tasks. Like, I created a task "Create Authentication for my app" Then when I wanted to do that task, I discovered that the authentication is a lot bigger task that I can handle in a single go. So, I would want to create "Setup Email and Password database", "Write logic for the Authentication". These two task would be a subtask to the original task. ### Requested feature 1. A task can have a parent task and a child task. (Making it work as a subtasks) 2. Task's content/body should show its subtasks.

Spell checker for multiple languages (with custom dictionary from Anytype)

My location is in Germany and AnyTwo's spell checker works for the German language. --> Good. But in Anytype, I was also able to use the English spell checker in addition, what I miss in AnyTwo -- if I write in English, my words become red underlined. Also, I miss my Custom Dictionary that I have in Anytype. It's full of the special words that I always need. It would be nice if I could simply transfer it to AnyTwo.

Lookup / Rollup properties for Relations

Currently, when an Object links to another Object via a Relation, we cannot display or use properties from the linked Object directly within the current Object or layout (e.g., viewing a Client's "Email" or "Phone" inside a "Project" object that is linked to that Client). I would like to see a Lookup / Rollup property feature. Specifically, this would allow us to: 1. Select an existing Relation property on an Object. 2. Pick a target property from the linked Object type (the mail or phone from the contact linked; the category from a parent project; summing up task hours on a goal; ...) 3. Display that target property value automatically inside the current Object, Object List, or Table View. 4. (Optional) Apply aggregation functions (e.g., Count, Sum, Average) when referencing multiple linked Objects.

CSS injections

I know this is getting way way ahead of the curve, but figured I'd post it since I really like this feature in the original AnyType. Ultimately, one of the reasons I actually switched to AT was BECAUSE of the CSS injections. I care a LOT about what my space looks like, and having CSS injections gives me more control over that. Separately, for small visual things, it lets me take care of it using CSS without bogging down the dev team, so it's a win-win.

Ability to edit object from the object block

I have a page (parent) that has a lot of object blocks (lets call the object -> child object), I would like to change their name of the child object from the parent page without opening the page, then changing their name, then coming back to change other's name. ### Requested feature The object block should also be a writeable block (Having the name of the child object as its content). From which the name of the object could be edited. This also opens up the possibility for using /collection-name to add them (child object) to some collection from the parent page. ### After thought /collection-name could cause user to ponder if the collection applies to the current or the child object. So a possible alternate approach could be to use #collection-name for the child object. This will also enable Logseq like workflow
