LaTeX mode only highlights syntax, doesn't render

We also have a "latex" option in the code snippet block type apart from the 'math mode' but it doesn't render anything; it just highlights the syntax of Latex.

I expect both the math and latex mode to be merged together, render the code, and leave us only the rendered version upon exit of the editing mode of the block.
