Views names are restricted in displayed width, their names become truncates
I renamed a new View so that the name became relatively long.
Unfortunately, the header doesn't show the full name, instead, it becomes truncated.
It's also not possible do doe something against that by dragging the Views.

Is it that you expect the View name to be longer or to not truncate at all? The latter would not be possible, it has to have a cutoff point.
I understand that truncation is necessary in a case where is not enough space on screen available. But in my shown case, that isn't the case, there's enough space.
Mor my needs, the width restriction is set too low. 40 characters would be enough, I think.
(You know, Germans have longer words then English guys.)
How could I name a View "Maschinenbau-Ingenieure"?
Or "Vertragsentwürfe Baustellenaufsicht"?
Its almost impossible to find even shorter names for that. Mnemonic tweaks are a painful substitute for decent descriptive names.
And if truncation happens, there should two improvements exist:
1. If the mouse hovers on the Views truncated name, a Tooltipp should display the full name without truncation.
Or, even better, it could temporarily become full length and overlap the name right from it, as long as the mouse hovers.
2. If that View is the active one, then its long name should become displayed in full length if possible) at the cost of other Views (their names become truncated as long as the active View has the focus.).
