Cannot move tabs to existing windows

I have two windows.
I want to move back my tabs from the seond one to the first windows but I cannot drop in there.
Instead, it moves it to a third window, leaving the second one with an empty tab.

Like Anytype, I think, but the way it works—like a web browser where you can move tabs from one window to another—is actually pretty cool, if that's what version 0.1.6 promised.

Thank you for reporting this — tab management across windows is definitely something we want to work smoothly.

A couple of quick clarifications so we can nail this down:

  1. When you try to drop a tab into the first window, where exactly are you aiming? (e.g., onto the tab bar, into an existing tab group, into the window chrome itself?)
  2. Does the third window that gets created appear in a specific location, or does it seem random each time you try?

This will help us reproduce it exactly.

It appears where the mouse is holding the moved tab.

In fact, it appears before the tab is released, which is a problem: the trigger should be the release, not a timer (which currently seems to be the case).

And to add it to the existing window, why not do it like browsers do: you should drop it onto the tab bar (with a visual effect showing that it will be added, such as highlighting the tab bar).
