Preferences Tabs loses its content

Thanks for reporting this — that's a frustrating experience when preferences disappear like that.

I have a couple of clarifying questions so we can nail down what's happening:

1. When you switch back to the Preferences tab, is the content completely blank, or does it show a loading state? And does refreshing that tab bring the preferences back?
2. Does this happen every time you switch tabs away from Preferences and back, or only sometimes? Any pattern to when it occurs or doesn't?
3. What browser and OS are you using? (Just want to rule out platform-specific quirks.)

The screenshot attachment didn't come through on our end — if you can grab a fresh one showing the empty state, that'd help us see exactly what you're seeing.
