Callout and Quote Blocks: copy & paste transfer Anytype --> Anytwo fails
How to reproduce:
- Open in legacy Anytype a Page that contains Callouts and Quote Blocks.
- Draw a frame over the blocks to select them. Then press Ctrl+c.
- Goto AnyTwo, open a Page there. Paste the clipboard content.
Everything appears there as text.
No Callouts, now Quotes, also no Toggles (for them I've already separate reported).
For our tests, it would be useful to transfer some of our REAL data to AnyTwo, at least via clipboard.

·about 22 hours agoThanks for reporting this — we can definitely see how frustrating that is when you're trying to move real data over.
We need a couple of clarifications to dig into this properly:
- Which blocks transfer okay? When you paste that selection, do regular paragraphs, headings, lists, or other block types come through with their formatting intact — or does everything flatten to plain text?
- The Callouts and Quotes specifically — when they land in AnyTwo as text, do they at least keep their content (the actual words)? Or is some of that getting lost too?
- Environment check: Which versions are you testing? (Anytype build number and AnyTwo build number, if you have them handy.)
Once we see what's surviving the paste and what's not, we'll be able to pinpoint where the clipboard bridge is dropping the block metadata.
This doesn't work because the editors are fundamentally different. While toggles is a simpler case, the way callouts and quote blocks work is dramatically different under the hood and it would likely often fail via clipboard action. When we work on migration, this will be a different story.
I'll leave this open for now so the devs can decide if we can quickly/easily support this.
