Mermaid and LaTeX block show cursor on diagram when clicked

Thanks for reporting this — I can see exactly what you mean from the screenshots.

Before we dig in: when you click twice on the left space of the mermaid block, does the cursor appear inside the rendered diagram itself (overlaying the visual), or does it show up in the editor area to the left of it? And when you type after that happens, does the text go into the diagram or stay in the editor?

Also, does this happen consistently every time, or only under certain conditions (like if the block is at a particular position on the page, or after a specific sequence of edits)?
