Having to restart computer to log in

What went wrong?

There's been a few times I have had to restart my computer to access my vault. Typing in my key resulted in a "logged in in another windows" error (wording not exact). This happened twice:

  • After upgrading to 0.1.6
  • After the application crashed and I had to use the task manager to force quite Anytwo.

It seems like it's not recognizing that it already has my key because when I restart my computer and open Anytwo it auto logs me in

What should happen?

  • Should just auto log me in instead of having to restart my computer.

Thanks for reporting this—the pattern of it happening after an upgrade and a crash is helpful. A couple of clarifications:

  1. When you see the "logged in in another windows" error and restart your computer, does the app then auto-login without you entering your key at all? Or does it still ask for your key, just accepts it the second time?
  2. After the crash (when you force-quit via task manager), before restarting—if you just reopen the app normally without restarting the computer, does it still show that error, or is the restart specifically what clears it?

  1. It auto logs me in after computer restarts.
  2. Yes, I had to restart my computer even after doing a force quite.

I want to note that I just did a force quite (even though it hasn't crashed) for a test. I got the same error when I re-opened the application. Restarting my computer auto logs me back in. So you should be able to reproduce this easily.
