Arrows (->, <-, <->) in object titles are rendered correctly as symbols in collection views, but appear as separate characters when the object is opened
What went wrong?
See title.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create an object in a collection.
- Type an arrow sequence in the object title, such as
-+>. - In the collection view, observe that the arrow is rendered with the correct single-character symbol.
- Open the object and observe that the arrow is rendered with separate characters (eg - >).

Thanks for the detailed report with screenshots — that's a clear repro.
Quick clarification: when you open the object and see the arrow as separate characters, are you editing the title field (clicking into it to change it), or just viewing it in the object's header/detail view? And does it stay broken after you close and reopen the object, or does it flicker back to the symbol?
I'm not editing. I'm just opening the object with a left click.
Yes, it stays broken after closing and reopening the object.
