Sort for date: doesn't work correct

As the video shows, I have two sorts active: "Author" and "Date".

In the list of entries from one specific author, I would expect to see the entries sorted for the date.
But the sort has flaws. The sorting order is not correct.

I watched the video — thanks for capturing that. To nail down the sort bug, I need a couple more specifics:

  1. What's the expected sort order? Should dates go newest-first, oldest-first, or does your workspace have a custom preference?
  2. Can you list a few of the dates you see in the video, in the order they appear? That'll help me confirm whether it's reversed, randomized, or grouping incorrectly within the author filter.

Once I have those, I can trace whether the issue is in how the sort stacks with the author filter or in the date parsing itself.
