Pasting images from clipboard doesn't work

What went wrong?

When the clipboard contains an image, the cursor is blinking in the editor (or chat input) and I press Ctrl-V to paste, Anytwo does not insert the image.

Actually, nothing happens in the UI, not even dev console error logs. Pasting text into Anytwo is working. Also tested pasting the same image on Anytype and it worked.

I'm using Anytwo 0.1.6 on Ubuntu 26.04 LTS.

What should happen?

Pasting should work regardless of content being text or image.

Thanks for reporting this — the detailed environment info helps. To pin down whether this is specific to clipboard images or broader, a couple of quick clarifications:

  1. When you paste an image from clipboard into Anytwo's editor, does the app respond at all (any UI flicker, any console errors if you open dev tools first), or is it completely silent?
  2. Have you tested pasting a clipboard image into a different app on that Ubuntu machine to rule out a system-level clipboard issue, or does only Anytwo fail to pick it up?
  3. What's your workflow for getting the image into clipboard — screenshot tool, copy from a file browser, or something else?

  1. no response at all, no console errors, no UI flicker, completely silent AFAICT
  2. yes, e.g. Anytype, and only Anytwo fails
  3. tried screenshot tool and copying from web browser. In both cases it works on Anytype but not on Anytwo
