Global search: some (but not all) "foreign" users shown in the restrictions
What went wrong?
In this video, I first remove the Global searche's restriction to a certain Space, so that I would see results also from other Spaces.
After that, I activate the restriction to Pages.
Problem: Now appear many users from "foreign" Spaces (in which I'm an invited user).
The list of these "foreign" users is incomplete and useless in this form -- there are many more users, alone in the "Anytwo Assembly" Space.
It doesn't make sense that the global search lists only a random handful of them, without giving me the opportunity to see them all.
-- What can I do with such an incomplete list of other users?
Request:
Rethink the whole principle of the searches user interface.
I can't offer a solution for its actual apearence.
It seems that the whole concept of the searches's user interface needs a heavy update.
One imaginable solution could be, to put the looong list of users in a scrollable list box that the user can expand like a toggle and that comes with an own search on top, to find a specific user among the hundred others.

Thanks for the report and the video—it's clear what you mean. The global search is showing an incomplete, random subset of users from other spaces when you filter by Pages, which makes the list both confusing and unusable.
A couple of clarifying questions so we can properly scope this:
The idea of a scrollable dropdown with a search inside is sensible—but first we need to understand whether this is a display issue (list is complete but hidden) or a data issue (the search is only fetching a subset).
