Any-Sync evolution

What's the context?

The migration from anytype to anytwo.

Why is this important?

Because, as far as I understood, the protocol changes so that peer-to-peer can sync then even if they are not in the same local network anymore. Is that correct?

So even if you are on the regular any-network, if the servers were switched off, the syncing would still work, peer-to-peer, all over the net?

Thanks for asking about this — the distinction matters for how the sync actually works.

To clarify: can you confirm whether you're asking about (a) syncing between peers when both are online and reachable over the internet, or (b) syncing that persists and catches up even when peers are offline for periods? The protocol changes do affect both, but they're separate capabilities, and knowing which one you're most curious about would help us give you the right answer.

Actually I like to know more about both variants.
