AnyTwo Cohort(two) 2026 09 21
General Report Regarding "Testers for AnyTwo" email intake requirements:
- Installing the app [done, successfully]
- Receiving app updates [undone, feedback: unclear where to look for these upon cursory set-up]
- Giving feedback [done, see first feedback above and this post]
- Receiving news [TBD, no news yet received]
General Report Regarding "Testers of Anytwo" Community AnyType Forum post:
(First Cohort - not me, but will add general notes)
- Can you install Anytwo on your device? [yes]
- Can you receive updates to Anytwo? [TBD]
- Can you provide feedback to our team? [on here, yes; on Any2, no - it is unclear where to post feedback upon initial search]
- Can you receive updates from our team’s progress? [TBD]
(Second Cohort - this one is where I am assigned)
- Does the editor behave as you expect? [so far, the provided basics behave as expected, and a nice added bonus on Mac is the editor will highlight a typo that you can press down on the keyboard and it will fix while you are typing which is nice for not breaking writing speed or the flow of thought.]
- Is there any missing key functionality? [it appears that the ability to drag a block and force it to nest indented within another block is missing - it is a function I have come to anticipate in other software and one that AnyType Flagship currently provides. All other basic functionality appears present upon first test]
- Are there shortcuts or workflows you feel are needed? [in addition to the provided feedback above, nested columns are missing - not needed during test but certainly will be expected for users on a final product]
- I will provide more feedback here as I proceed with my test.

·14 days agoRegarding drag and drop nesting, this should work. Do you have an example of it not working?
I will clarify
Drag and drop nesting for a block directly underneath or tabbed under another block is working. I was referring to creating a nesting column within a column (for example let's say I have 2 headers in Header 2 format in 2 columns at the top of a wiki page. I may want to then place 2 additional columns under each in header 3 format, creating an additional hierarchy - but aligned under each column. I believe that behavior of the column tool is different than having 1 page where the first block is 2 columns and the second block is 4 columns. It would be the first block is 2 columns (A and B) and column A has a nested 2 columns that format and perform independently of column B's similar 2 columns. PKM'ers and students (grads, PhDs, etc.) will likely be using this tool for individual and school study and need to format content independently so this behavior will likely be expected. Please let me know if I may better clarify my initial comment for development purposes and thank you. @Kaye And while the slash command may allow for this behavior (which I didn't test after I ran into my issue, so it may be an option), the drag block behavior to create nested columns within an existing column currently does not work the way one would expect.
·13 days ago(edited)You effectively want to nest columns inside another column? If that's the case, it's best to write a feature request for it.
Usually a screenshot or screen recording is helpful in these situations. It'll save you a lot of writing time. If you're on a mac, use CMD+SHIFT+5 for video or CMD+SHIFT+4 for images.
Additional Editor feedback - missing function that non-technical PKM users [like myself] will consider essential, but currently missing - margin width adjustor. Currently a lot of open space on the margins I have no control over.
·14 days agoJust to be clear, what you're asking for is some sort of 'full-page width' option inside the editor? You can put that through as a feature request if you'd like.
Yes, exactly. This is currently AnyType's (Legacy's) behavior, as well as a common feature on similar software tools. I'll add the request. (Also, thank you for responding to the thread and each comment, I'll work to make them concise so you have fewer in frequency from me to respond to.)
·13 days agoFor every bug, improvement, or feature request, it's best to write it as an individual post. That way they can all be tagged and tasked. Don't worry about making them concise, it's best to just make them clear with screenshots or recordings (if necessary).
Update: worked through the AnyTwo email and AnyTwo forum post line by line, found the AnySpace invite on the last line. Therefore, I can amend First Cohort's Q2 & Q3 to add, I am on this forum, on Linear, on Quackback, and have requested to join the shared space.
·14 days agoOnce the new alpha build is out, you should get a trigger to update your app. Then you should also receive an email/changelog from here that you can see all the updates.
I will mark this issue as done. @Breezy_Breez3 please turn each of your requests as its own individual post.
