Privacy Mode for Sensitive Content
Introduce a toggleable Privacy Mode that allows users to mark specific items (chats, objects, collections) as "sensitive" or "private" and automatically hide or mask them across the UI to prevent accidental exposure during screen shares, recordings, or in-person viewing.
Core Requirements
- Privacy Tagging: Allow users to tag individual items objects, property values, etc. as "Sensitive".
- Global Privacy Mode Toggle: Provide an easily accessible global toggle to turn Privacy Mode ON/OFF. Shortcut and button.
Behavior When Privacy Mode is Active
- Side Menu & Favorites: Automatically hide tagged sensitive chats/items from the sidebar, including expanded Favorites.
- Global Search: Exclude tagged sensitive items from search results and auto-suggestions
- Objects: Filter out sensitive objects from open collections or view lists.

You can create a folder in your favourites called 'Private' and then put your objects with sensitive names in there. This is a much simpler solution you can do today, although there are benefits to your other suggestions I think they deserve their own separate feature request.
Hmm, I appreciate your suggestion, though it feels like a workaround that only half of the problem solves and that in a not sufficient way.
The unsolved parts
1. The global search with the list of results.
2. The entries that can show up in certain Collections.
It needs only a careless co-worker who adds a sensitive item to a "harmless" Collection (or to the open Favorites) and things are out of control.
But if such an Object was flagged as "sensitive", it wouldn't be shown anywhere in the open, no matter what that careless co-worker does.
On the long run, I predict that especially business customers will come with the need for that privacy mode.
It would be better, if that thing is already solved before they realize that there is something relative fundamental (for their need) that doesn't exist.
Even more: The Any company could highlight this in the list of features, to convince visitors on the web page to become a customer.
" + Privacy mode: hide sensitive information from other's eyes!"
Yes, we agree that a privacy toggle on properties, objects, collections, spaces, etc. would definitely be a good feature. No doubt.
I was simply suggesting a solution for today, as I see the above being at least medium difficulty in getting the UX right across the board (don't want it to be menu overwhelming).
Good point!
And I have good ideas how to avoid menu overwhelming.
Here a clean, intuitive and quick usable solution:
Side menu:
When the user hovers the mouse on an entry in the side menu, the three dots appear, as well an the tooltip "More option". (This is actually not the case for the Favorites, only for entries in the Spaces).
My suggestion for the side menu:
The three dots should always appear, also in the Favs.
When the user hovers above the three dots (that's the moment when the Tooltip appears) should in addition also a tiny clickable symbol appear left from the three dots. A click on it marks the entry as "sensitive".
-- This is quick and easy to use. Instead of clicking direct on the three dots, the user simple moves the mouse a tiny litte to the left and clicks on that "sensitive" button.
The three dots menu itself remains untouched from all this.
Objects that are already open:
For adding a Collection to the Object, the user clicks first on the little "+" button.
I suggest that he doesn't need to click the "+" for adding the "sensitive" flag to the Object.
Similar to my suggestion for the side menu, a tiny "sensitive" button appears left from the "+" when the user hovers on the "+" button.
It needs then only a tiny movement to the left and a single click with the mouse.
My two suggestions come without any new menu entry and the usage needs only a single click.
It's also consistent to the logic what the "..." and "+" are for.
And there is no permanent visible button; the needed "sensitive" button becomes only visible while hovering on eighter the "..." (in the side menu) or the "+" (in the Object header).
