Add a button "Create Object" to the left side menu

My actual best configuration attempt allows me to create a raw new Object within two seconds:
I have the "Page" Mini app in the Favorites.
One click there in the left menu, then a second click on the wohle right of the "Page" Mini app to reach its "+" button, then I can type the new Object's name.
-- That's not so bad, but the long way with the mouse and the needed two mouse clicks still feel like an unnecessary little friction.

A single click on a button that's on top of the left side menu should be enough.
There shouldn't be any need to open a Collection or Mini app first, before the user is finally able to create an empty new Object.

Do you mean this button here? We haven't properly executed on the user flow for this button, but it'll be better in the future.

Ahem, yes.
(I should more sleep) -- the issue with that existing button is the fact, that it sends the new Object into limbo. The Object doesn't appear in Pages, nor in manually applied Collections.
-- That means, there is a redundancy in the code, This button doesn't do the same as clicking on the "+" button in the "Page" Mini app. It does something else, what doesn't work correctly at the moment.
OR it could be, that this existing button creates a very different Format then Page?

What I REALLY have meant to ask for, is a button that creates a new Page (not some kind of different Object). -- A normal Page that appears in the "Page" section (aka Mini app) and that behaves in all aspects as a Page.

Yes, we have not properly designed this feature yet because of the architecture changes we're still undergoing. We've had thoughts and prototypes, but can't firm it up until after we solidify the setup between Formats and Collections.
