Editor: line layout for properties
For the most important properties/things that I need to know about an object at a glance, would love to be able to have that at the top, like current Anytype. This is essential for large object databases

@TC this issue is a little unclear, as we may be using terms that exist in Anytype but don't in Anytwo. Sometimes, it may be best expressed via screenshots. Are you talking about when you view an object, you want to see the properties in the header? That already exists.

Ah--I forgot this is a styling of the header properties and not necessarily a new feature. Yes, these already exist but I meant the Line option for current AnyType's Properties View dropdown, like shown below. You can see the "default" description area I speak to in point 3 as well
Your issue is still unclear and it the reason for why you want to do this as well. For example:
1. What do you mean by Property Label? Do you mean the Property's Name, such as 'Published Year'? In the case of my screenshot, how is one meant to know what 412 means without the name?
2. What icon? Or maybe you're talking about the Collection?
3. This is clear.
Please take the time to describe your feature request and why you want to use such a feature. Otherwise this back and forth just takes longer and it becomes harder for us to parse in comments.
For 1, I meant the property names, yes. You can see in my screenshot that I don't have the property names, and in some cases yes it would lead to confusion which is why I would prefer this to be an option as opposed to a default setting. In my screenshot, all of the properties are self explanatory to me, I don't need the property names as I know what each one of those means. The feature exists in current AnyType and it's never been an issue/caused confusion, and it takes up way less space. As for why, it's partially an aesthetic/visual preference thing but mostly a space thing. If I know what the properties mean just from scanning the page, the property names just take up space and clutter the header.
The header can already get pretty cluttered so the more control we get over it, the better imo.
The ask here is specifically for the Line style as I personally never use the list style for the properties. Admittedly, I'm not sure how removing the property names would work in the list style, perhaps it's only an option for the line style.
This would also work better with properties you specifically assign to the header area, as in current AnyType. I personally have dozens of properties on some of my collections so the new system that doesn't let you assign properties to another area would be overwhelming fast. This would best be addressed by the ask here. Just wanted to add this for context on how I typically organize what goes in the header.
2. For this point, I'm very sorry--I can see why this caused confusion. I filled this out after work and I confused some features for others. Please disregard this.
I will edit the post to include all my additional feedback to make it easier for you guys/remove point 2. I appreciate the patience.
Edit. Seems like I can't edit it anymore.
All good, I edited it. Thanks for taking the time to elaborate. It's worth keeping in mind that the header in Anytwo is different because it's also a different architecture, so not everything is going to be the same—nor does it make sense to make it the same as Anytype. So we want to think more from first principles of why something is necessary, not just because we had it before in Anytype.
