Embed text based files

Files containing text should be relatively easy to view, and there are many of them.

Specifically, I have:

  • logs (such as application log files)
  • CSV files
  • and TXT files (license files, notes, README files)

Would it be possible to display them?
Using the same approach as for a PDF, either as a link or embedded.

To help us understand the use case better, a couple of quick questions:

  1. How often do you find yourself needing to view these files? Are they mostly for debugging (opening logs to diagnose issues), reviewing data (scanning CSVs), or reading documentation (license files, READMEs)?
  2. When you attach one of these files now, what's the friction? Do you have to download it first, or open it in a separate tab/app?
  3. For logs specifically — are they typically short enough to scan on-screen, or are we talking about large files where you'd still want to search or filter within them?

This'll help us think through what "embedding" would actually look like for your workflow.
